Here is my latest project - a mostly original and correct (finally) 1948 Panhead.
We have been following the "crustoration" process of getting this bike sorted out, fixed up and back on the road in American Iron Magazine
www.aimag.com and here is how it looked at the start of the summer.
After riding it a few hundred miles I have needed to address a few items before I leave for Harley's 105th party with it later this summer.
The front wheel keeps hopping at highway speed, the front fender stay is rubbing on the springer fork, the left twistgrip spiral fell off on the highway, and I need to install a set of saddlebags that look the part.
Details to follow as I get them done. Too many other projects waiting their turn after this one.
