OK, here i am signing in to another bikers' forum that looks like it might be "up my street" - let's hope so.

I'm an engineer in the UK nuclear industry, currently live in North-West England. I have a 1991 XL as my daily year-round ride and i also have a bobbed 1960 FL (as "Sunday Best", for ride-outs, rallies, holidays, etc.) which used to be my daily rider up until a coupla years ago when i got the XL, so now it's up on the lift for a good going over.
