Hi guys and gals. I ave a 2001 Sporty custom that started out life as a oem 883. Rode it like that trouble free for 6 yrs then did a conversion to 1200 myself and still trouble free. It has 52,000 miles now. Hey Quebec climate is a short season. Has a wide glide front with 5% stretch plus it's 2in higher in front. The wrong size was ordered but I went with it. It runs straight and true(added fork brace), but that 21in tire can be a heart stopper when caught in a road rut, which Quebec is famous for. Can never know too much, which is why I'm here.

Default Harley Sportster

Welcome and nice to meet you. One of the best mods to a stock 883 Harley Sportster is to punch it out to 1200cc. I believe an 883 to 1200 conversion often gives more power than a stock 1200 and it's usually cheaper.

Photos please.
